Day 01 : Arrival at DelhiWelcome to Delhi!!!

Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, welcome by our driver who will transfer you to your selected hotel for check in and relax. Evening visit Akshardham temple [closed on every Monday]. Attend sound & light show here. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Meals: Breakfast

After having breakfast at the hotel, go for half-day sightseeing of Delhi. Visit the largest Mosque in India - Jama Masjid. Walk up to the Fatehpur Masjid and on reaching, proceed to Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest, biggest and the busiest markets in India – in a Rickshaw. This 1 km rickshaw ride halts at the Red Fort roundabout from where our driver will pick you up and drive you to Rajghat. Drive past the magnificent Red Fort (the prime residence of the Mughal Emperor of India for nearly 200 years). Rajghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi - the Father of the Nation. A black marble platform marks the spot of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation. Later, visit the Humayun Tomb. It is the first ever garden style tomb of India. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan - official residence of the President of India and India Gate built to commemorate the sacrifice of 70,000 soldiers who died in World War I. Spend time clicking photographs here. Your Delhi sightseeing tour ends with visit to Qutub Minar - tallest brick minaret in the world. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi- Varanasi Meals: Breakfast

(By Flight)
Post breakfast, guests will be driven to the Delhi Airport where they will board the flight as scheduled under this North India tour taking the guests to the holy city of Hindus and Buddhists - Varanasi. Relax for a brief time at the hotel booked for your stay in Varanasi. Our GeTS Holidays representative will then escort you to Sarnath for a sightseeing tour of the region. Located at a distance of 10 kms from Varanasi; Sarnath is renowned for being the place where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon and since then it became a big pilgrimage site for Buddhism devotees. Explore the premises visiting Dhammek Stupa marking the exact place where Lord Buddha preached for the first time followed by a visit to Archaeological Museum to see the Buddhist relics. Also, visit the Ashoka Pillar and then return to your hotel back in Varanasi. You can enjoy your evening with a visit to the local bazaars of Varanasi or enjoy a free walk on the Ghats to witness the evening offerings made to the sacred River Ganges. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 04: Varanasi- Khajuraho Meals: Breakfast

(By overnight Train)
This day of your North India tour itinerary begins with a spiritual experience as you visit the banks of holy River Ganges for a boat ride and see the traditional offerings being made to Ganges by the pilgrims. Later in the day, visit the famous temples of Varanasi including New Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Durga Temple also known as Monkey Temple. Our GeTS Holidays representative will then drive you to the Varanasi railway station. You will be provided tickets and all other arrangements by our GeTS Holidays representative as you board your overnight train to the temple town of Khajuraho.

Day 05: Khajuraho SightseeingMeals: Breakfast

Morning arrival at Khajuraho Railway Satation, our driver will pick you and transfer to pre-booked Hotel. Have breakfst and later, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the famous Western Group of Temples. Pay a visit to see the massive Laxman Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and also visit the Varaha temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple and Chausath Yogini Temple. A visit to Archaeological Museum will avail an opportunity to explore the well-preserved collection of stone artifacts of Chandela dynasty. Return to the hotel henceforth and spend the night here.

Day 06: Khajuraho-Jhansi Meals: Breakfast

Agra (By day Train)
Post breakfast, drive to Jhansi. En route visit Orchha. On arrival at Jhansi reach railway station, board your train to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 07: Agra-Jaipur Meals: Breakfast

Early morning visit to the eternal symbol of love, the Taj Mahal created by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Witness the mesmerizing sunrise views over the Taj Mahal that attracts thousands of visitors around the world. Return to the hotel and settle for breakfast. Later, visit the Agra Fort, Itimadullah’s Tomb. Later, drive to Jaipur. En route visit the 16th century city of Mughals - Fatehpur Sikri. Here explore the magnificent sandstone monuments built under the guidance of Mughal Emperor Akbar and the Buland Darwaza - highest gateway in the world. Continue drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, you will be accommodated in a hotel booked by our tour operator in Jaipur. Later, explore the effervescent markets of Jaipur in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 08: Jaipur sightseeingMeals: Breakfast

After a succulent Rajasthani breakfast, visit Amer Fort perched on a hilltop. You can enjoy an elephant ride here. Discover the architectural brilliance of the Rajasthani artists. A visit to the spectacular palace complex of City Palace will provide an opportunity to view fine Indian and Mughal architecture. Visit the Jantar Mantar, an ancient observatory built by royalty, Sawai Jai Singh (founder of Jaipur). Also, visit another famous site of the city, Hawa Mahal built for the royal ladies to watch the royal procession. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 09: Jaipur- Jodhpur Meals: Breakfast

Post breakfast, commence your journey to reach Jodhpur. En route, visit Pushkar, the renowned destination of famous cattle fair and the only temple of Lord Brahma is planned on your Pushkar itinerary. Continued drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, you will be accommodated in a hotel booked previously for your stay in Jodhpur. You can opt to enjoy an eventful night at some fine restaurant in the city or stay in bed for a peaceful siesta after a long journey. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 10: Jodhpur SightseeingMeals: Breakfast

Post breakfast, visit the Mehrangarh Fort spread over 5 kilometers on a steep hill and looking down 125 meters. The fort appears rugged and impenetrable from the outside, but houses some of the most intricately adorned palaces with exquisitely carved panels and latticed windows, Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal are some of the areas worth exploring. A collection of royal cenotaphs, built in while marble, lies very close to the fort. Built in 1899, the cenotaph called Jaswant Thada also houses portraits of the rulers of Jodhpur. Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace that still serves as the residence of the royal family of Jodhpur in part and Spice Market etc. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur-UdaipurMeals: Breakfast

(276kms/ 6 hrs) After breakfast, proceed with a drive to Udaipur as planned on your Enchanting Rajasthan Tour. En route, visit the renowned Ranakpur Jain temples - a cluster of temples made of intricately-sculpted white marble. Continue drive to Udaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel booked for your stay in the city. Evening free at leisure or enjoy a casual walk around the Lake Pichola or opt for a boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 12: Udaipur SightseeingMeals: Breakfast

In the morning, go for city sightseeing tour to Udaipur. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. The day will begin with a visit to exquisite City Palace overlooking the Lake Pichola. Other sightseeing attractions on your Udaipur tour include Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum and Jagdish Temple. Later, visit an ornamental garden built for the royal ladies - Sahelion Ki Bari followed by a visit to Lok Kala Mandal that exhibits a fine collection of folk artifacts such as ornaments, puppets, folk music instruments, paintings and more. The trip concludes with a visit to Eklingi and Nagda Temples, built on the banks of Lake Bageela. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 13: Udaipur- DelhiMeals: Breakfast

Departure (By Flight)
Last day of your tour will begin with a delectable meal in the hotel followed by check-out at the hotel. Our company representative will transfer you to the Airport in Udaipur to board your flight back home. Our Holidays representative will avail you with all the arrangements for your flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you will be provided the tickets and other arrangements for your comfortable connecting flight back home.
